There is one promise that I know without any doubt. It is that God loves me unconditionally. No matter how far away I might wander or walk, He is always there waiting for me and walking with me.
Fear, health issues, pain inflicted by a situation might influence that way we think about ourselves. This happened to me. I felt like I was walking all alone in the sand of this vast ocean and that God was so far away.
The verse Psalm 139: 7 – 10 came to my mind.
“Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: If I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, And thy right hand shall hold me.”

What this said to me was, even those I only saw my own feet in the sand, I was NOT alone at all. I just needed to look with more faith!!! There were two sets of feet!!! The journey I am on brings many paths. I am a wife, a daughter, a mother, a mother-in-law, a sister, a grandmother (Gigi), a friend. I am also an artist, a blogger, a lover of flowers, and so much more. I can decide to see life within a bubble of fear, or I can trust that God has already paved the path before me, I just need to keep walking and living.
The journey to healing is not always smooth, or easy; God does not promise us a life without challenges, but He does say He is WITH us while we migrate through our challenges.
So, I can either keep walking alone, or walk with faith and strength. I chose STRENGTH!!!
