Life as a Christian Woman Artist

I have often said that art has the power to transcend boundaries and communicate a message that words alone often struggle to convey. For me as a Christian woman artist, this creative journey is also uniquely intertwined with my faith in God. In this blog, I hope will share some of my story of being a Christian woman and an artist.

As a Christian woman artist, my journey begins with embracing my life a child of God. From the first day I started on my artist journey, I asked God to guide my journey TOTALLY.  Being an artist of faith provides a lens through which creativity is harnessed, enabling my creativity to be authentic.  I never worry about sales as I know God already has that planned in His timing. When I feel stuck in my journey, I ask God to provide me guidance and lead my path.  Sometimes I feel God is just asking me to slow down and look to him for my creative inspiration and not try to “do it alone.”  He already knows my journey!!!

Look at what God says in Psalms 139:14. This verse totally blows me away….  “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful; I know that full well.”

God tells us we are created within His perfect plan in mind.  So, when I set forth to create my art, I fully embrace the creation of art that reflects my personal unique experience, perspective, and beliefs. I allow my passion and soul to become my art.

The impact I can share from my Christian faith extends beyond galleries and exhibitions. It is my hope that my artwork has the power to inspire, heal, and transform through my paintings. Through my art, I hope to provoke deep thought, create moments of connection that resonate deeply with others and create art that speaks to the soul.

Being a Christian woman artist is a testament to the diverse ways in which faith and creativity intersect. For me, it has been about embracing who I am as an artist (the creative being God created), overcoming any challenges that are in front of me, and sharing my passion through art. If I can bring a unique perspective to the canvas, share my journey of courage, authenticity, I feel I have honored God’s gift He gave me.

I have a lot of difficulties letting go my intuition, my maine challenge.
I watch very often your videos. Your freedom on the canvas is very inspiring. I like very much your work.
